Rebelse Meisjes

On the 8th of March (International Women's Day), thanks to a very successful crowdfunding, the Dutch version of the bestseller Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls appeared. The book contains 100 stories of inspiring Dutch women of which I had the chance to portray 3:
Writer and feminist activist Anja Meulenbelt
The first female politician of The Netherlands Corry Tendeloo
The first female ice skating gold medalist Stien Kaiser

The book became the bestseller at the Dutch Childrenbook Week 2021.
For every sold book of the first edition, 1 euro is donated to an organization that works for women and girls in the Netherlands (WOMEN Inc., Plan International Nederland, De Bovengrondse, S.P.E.A.K. and Stem op een Vrouw).
The international editions of this book have been sold a total of more than 5 million times!
